The village of Braemar lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty some 56 miles west
of Aberdeen and set amongst the rolling foothills of the magnificent Cairngorm
Mountains.

This friendly, welcoming village has entertained visitors for over a century and offers a
fine range of accommodation from intimate guest houses to large hotels.

There are plenty of activities on offer, including; Golf, Cycling and an opportunity to explore
Wildlife or the many beautiful Castles in the area. Winter-time offers Skiing at the
nearby Glenshee Ski Resort with it's many, and varied choice of ski runs.

Braemar plays host to the annual "Braemar Highland Gathering" each September.
